Fabio Keiner brings to us an exemplary ambient improvisation primarily using IOON's synth samples. Ioon kindly posted these samples on Relaxed Machinery's site for free use and the name is derived from the Paranoia Synth. In addition to a tribute to these samples, Keiner uses vocal cries from Transmission Samples, cello/string improvisation played and created by himself, and various other samples are used and reworked from freesound.org, both including didgeridoo drones from 'Mystified' and cello drones from 'Juskiddink'. He also experiments with free improvisations and reworkings on various vst-synths that he has used on past productions.

This haunting work evokes the images of the season. The music takes you on a glacial journey where isolation is knit into cascades of dark tones. Included with the music, is a short poem titled “irgendwo” written by Fabio himself and a quote from Cesar Vallejo.

Austrian Keiner lives in Vienna and has had no traditional education in music or performing. He has said, “I hate music, but I love sound” and with this in mind he started playing with synth and software programs 10 years ago, especially exploring ambient music. Although not all influences are ambient, he has been highly influenced by Giacinto Scelsi, the minimalism of Morton Feldman, traditional Tibetan ritual bells and bowls, wind chimes. wind harps and other virtual or natural generative sounds.
