about

J’ai des règles d’or,

"A 3rd and final chapter available free, unlike the two other releases. Some sounds date back as far as 2009, when I begun my work on monolyth & cobalt. Some of these pieces of sound have been kept in a file named : D.Rhöne. These are more abstract works, more subterranean streams and tones, even maybe more "dark" or noisy sounds. Three years later I had released the first D.Rhöne full album, and I did not use these original sounds. Obviously it was necessary to come back to them and add to it some new works, or rather some new pieces from the last several months and try to have a complete opus for the final D.Rhöne, the last chapter. It's an exode. The scope of possibilities in this project, attempt to approach the limits of my codes, close a loop, come back to the beginning and to give it an appropriate ending."

"10 minutes is a long time, sometimes longer than we think. What we can pack into those 600 seconds, if we put our mind to it, is remarkable. With "III" D.Rhone has created a series of exquisite soundscapes, each with the duration of 10:01 (excluding the opening & closing tracks). D.Rhone has poured his heart, and his soul, into the music on this release for Subterranean Tide ... and it shows: each track, whilst reserved & minimal in presentation, conveys considerable atmosphere and expresses deeply held emotion. This is immersive music that rewards the attentive and I, for one, am listening."

about

Subterranean Tide Richmond, Virginia

Through art - we can almost touch divinity. And we are merely tiny individuals hanging out in this universe creating beyond what was thought possible. Musicians are constantly evolving and they are continually giving us the gift of music. This netlabel serves as a platform to bring together different sound artists and to briefly experience the poetry of sound within ourselves. ... more
